Art of Christmas Market 2025
The inaugural George Festival 2025 was launched on November the 14th, in the Sayers Auditorium of the George museum, amongst our artwork. Such a proud moment for SCAVA!
We were thrilled to be part of this exciting new event not only with our exhibition, but also with our upcoming “The Art of Christmas” Market from the 13-20th of December and to have been part of the first George Festival. This market was not only a festive celebration but also an opportunity to shine a light on SCAVA’s incredibly talented members.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Minister Ricardo Mackenzie, The Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sports (DCAS) for their invaluable support in making this market possible. Thank you also for the support of MTN, Heineken and the George Tourism. Lorrinda Hakimi, Mthandazo Ntsham and The George Museum and it’s staff were incredibly supportive, we are so very grateful for their support in making this happen for SCAVA.
It was a market of artists, artisans, makers and creators that drew a lot of people to the George Museum and also to our exhibition!
